Beautiful time away at Cicada. Couldn't recommend it enough. Will definitely be coming back. Nick was a gracious host and the entire stay was just the kind of relaxing that we needed. Close to town but felt like we were a world away from everyone, out on the peaceful farms straight out of a picture book.

An absolute 10/10 experience! Every detail of this property was incredible and of the highest quality. If you book this place, the hot tub experience is an absolute must-do. Nick is a good host who communicates seamlessly and responds almost instantly to any questions. Absolutely lovely experience in every aspect. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding.

The website was incredibly detailed, with clear information about every facility and exactly what was included with each accommodation type. It answered virtually every question you could think of before arriving. Communication leading up to our stay was also excellent, with timely messages containing all the information we needed. Check-in and check-out were both seamless.

We stayed in the Bell Tent and it was absolutely wonderful. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need, including items you don't even realise you'll appreciate until you're there. The shared facilities were spotless, well maintained, and very well equipped.

And of course, the location itself is absolutely stunning and makes for a peaceful getaway.

Thank you, Cicada, for an unforgettable experience. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had the loveliest stay in one of the safari tents at Cicada Luxury Camping. The tent is comfortable, beautiful, and has everything you would need. The outdoor area is stunning and practical, and we loved sitting by the fire each night. The view is beautiful, and the place feels very private and peaceful. We felt like we were amongst nature while still having the creature comforts. It is also very close to the town of Kiama, being only a 5-10 min drive away. I 100% recommend a stay here, and we will be back for sure!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cicada Luxury Camping for our anniversary. We stayed at the Tiger Prince dome. The view was stunning, amenities were excellent. We absolutely loved the hot tub. We also booked the massages which were fantastic and the breakfast hamper was so cute. Definitely recommend!!

Just recently stayed at cicada and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went as a group hiring the safari tents and the dome tents. Nick the owner was attentive to all our needs. The tents were comfortable, amenities inside the tents nicely done. Cooking was easy either at the tent sight or at the Brood, the communal cooking area. Visits from Henny penny the friendly chicken was fun too. The views were outstanding. I would be hard to find any fault other than heat on hot days which can heat up the inside of the tents without aircon. Tubs are a great added bonus to assist in the cool down as well as the swimming hole. If you’re looking for a relaxing time, away from the huddle and bustle of city life it’s the perfect get away. 1 and half hours drive from Sydney with Kiama beaches and shops close by. Thanks Nick and Cindy for a great stay 🙂

A very much needed escape from the chaos of the city. It was quiet and secluded, everything was just perfect! It was clean, the bathroom & the main kitchen area was spotless and our tent had all the amenities you needed for cooking over the fire pit.

What's to fault here? Glamping to the max. Perfect views, exceptional tents and amenities. Peace and quiet. Visits from roos and chickens. Romanticism is well and truly alive at Cicada.

My partner and I stayed two nights at cicada luxury camping and absolutely loved it. We really enjoyed the location and the scenery. There an only a few tents so its nice and secluded, perfect for a private get away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would go back.

A really good experience, lots of wildlife and very peaceful. Tent was a good size and bed was comfortable. All you need to bring is clothes and food, everything else is provided. Loved cooking on the plate provided over the fire pit. Highly recommend

Enjoyed a great two day stay in the Golden Emperor Safari Tent at the end of Dec. Location was an easy drive from Sydney and it's a gorgeous spot overlooking the valley but only a five minute drive from Kiama. We were able to slow down and relax instantly, with just the right balance of amenities (comfy bed, fan, kitchen utensils, mobile reception) and no unnecessary distractions (TV, wifi). We cooked on the fire pit, enjoyed the outdoor bath and hung out reading with the chickens at the Brood! Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought through. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing two day stay.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay in the Black Prince Safari tent. The tent itself is luxurious, decked out with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The views from the tent deck, outdoor bath and seating around the fire pit are amazing. All top spots to enjoy a drink or two.
It's a perfect base to explore the many things to do on the Kiama coast. I highly recommend a stay at Cicada Luxury Camping.

This was the best little getaway!!! We booked 2 nights for our 20yr anniversary and it was the most blissful kid free, peaceful and relaxing decision we could have made. Absolutely every detail has been thought of - the safari tent was styled so perfectly, and it was so comfortable & felt luxurious. We made full use of the fire pit, enjoyed the stunning views, and enjoyed a bath on the deck with a glass of bubbles. Nick was a wonderful, friendly host and we look forward to returning again sometime. We’ll be recommending to all our friends!
